Privacy Policy Effective date: September 10, 2026 Snailer (“the app”) is provided by Galaxy Technologies LLC (“we,” “us”). This policy describes what data leaves your device when you use Snailer, why we use it, and your choices. It applies to the iOS app and related services we operate. 1. Who we are Galaxy Technologies LLC Website: https://snailer.org Support: support@snailer.org 2. What we collect Depending on how you use Snailer, we may collect: • Contact info — email address (for sign-in, account, and product updates as described below) • Identifiers — an account / support user ID • Usage data — product interaction (for example app opens) and other usage summaries such as how often you create items or use AI features, and coarse time-of-day buckets on your device’s local calendar day. These are counts and timing, not the text of your to-dos or collections in our daily usage rollups. • User content — when you use cloud AI, the content of your request (and related context needed to answer) is sent to our servers and to AI providers so we can respond and apply usage limits. On-device AI stays on your phone and is not uploaded as chat text in those rollups. If you use cloud board backup, a snapshot of your board may be stored on our servers until you replace or delete it. • Photos or videos — only if you choose to attach them (for example to cloud AI). We do not access your photo library in the background. • Purchases — subscription / entitlement status so Premium features work. Payment card details are processed by Apple; we do not receive your full card number. We may also receive standard crash or diagnostic information through Apple’s platforms when available. 3. What we do not do • We do not sell your personal data. • We do not use your data for third-party advertising networks or cross-app tracking as defined by Apple. • We do not put the text of your to-dos or collections into our daily usage analytics counters. 4. Why we collect data • App functionality — sign-in, sync where applicable, cloud AI answers, subscriptions, support. • Analytics — understand product health and cloud AI cost (counts and timing tied to your account). • Fraud and abuse prevention — limit free Cloud AI credits and similar entitlements to one claim per mailbox identity. • Product updates — if you create an account (or later opt in), we may email your account address about new features, improvements, or important service news. These are not third-party ads. You can unsubscribe anytime (link in each email, or in the app Profile). 5. Third-party processors Cloud AI features use third-party model providers (for example OpenAI or similar) to process your request content so the feature can work. They act as processors for that purpose under their terms and our configuration. Apple processes payments for App Store subscriptions. We use email delivery providers (for example Amazon SES) to send sign-in codes and product-update messages. 6. Retention and account deletion While your account is active, account and usage records are kept as needed to operate the service. Daily usage summaries are generally retained on the order of about one year on a rolling basis, then deleted, unless a longer period is required for security, legal, or accounting reasons. You can delete your account from Profile in the app (or by emailing support@snailer.org from the address on your account). When you delete your account we aim to remove, as soon as practicable: • Your account profile (including email and display name on that account) • Cloud board backup • Sign-in sessions and passkeys stored on our servers • Server-side chat / assistant state tied to your account • Associated usage and product-event rows that cascade with your account On the device that initiates deletion, the app also removes boards and chat files scoped to that account (you do not need to uninstall the app). Passkeys managed by iOS may remain in Settings → Passwords until you remove them. After deletion we may retain limited non-content records needed to operate the service fairly and lawfully, including: • A mailbox entitlement record (canonical email) so free Cloud AI credits cannot be claimed again by recreating an account with the same email, and so delete/rejoin abuse can be limited • Aggregated or anonymized operations metrics and cost / billing records (including App Store transaction identifiers where applicable) • Records we are required to keep for security, fraud prevention, tax, or other legal obligations Deleting your account does not restore a prior account or backup if you later sign up again with the same email. A new signup creates a new empty account and does not receive a second free Cloud AI trial for that mailbox. You may delete and rejoin with the same email up to three times; after that, further account creation with that email is blocked (contact support@snailer.org if you need help). 7. Your choices • Delete your account from Profile in the app, or email support@snailer.org from the address on your account. • Turn off product-update emails in Profile, or use the unsubscribe link in any product email. • Limit photos by not attaching them. • Prefer on-device AI where offered to keep chat text on device. • Manage or cancel Premium in iPhone Settings → Subscriptions. 8. Children Snailer is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. 9. Changes We may update this policy. We will post the new effective date on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy. 10. Contact Questions about privacy: support@snailer.org
